Meet our speakers:
Joanna Parsons - The Curious Route
Joanna Parsons has spent the past decade building successful internal communication strategies and teams in both public and private sector organizations. She has won multiple international awards for her work and was most recently named a finalist for “Leader of the Year” in Gartner’s global Communication & Marketing Awards.
She was the first Head of Internal Communications in the 100-year history of the Irish police force, An Garda Siochana, leading the organization through the Covid-19 pandemic. In 2023, Joanna became a solopreneur of The Curious Route, where she helps organizations communicate better with their employees and helps communicators to grow their skills and confidence through training and coaching.
Ellie Moore - Internal Communications Manager at Domino’s Pizza Group UK & Ireland
Ellie Moore is a seasoned communications and engagement leader with extensive experience in building dynamic internal communications and talent development programs. Today, serves as the Internal Communications Manager of Domino’s Pizza UK & Ireland. Previously, she led internal communications and engagement at Ocado Retail Ltd and learning and development at Wilmington PLC and Fidelity International. She notably gained global insight during her secondment to the Office of the CHRO in New York at Pearson.
Ellie holds a CIPR qualification and a BA Honors degree in International Tourism & Business from the University of Lincoln, combining her expertise with a deep commitment to elevating employee experience across organizations.
Jennifer Sproul - Institute of Internal Communications
Jennifer is responsible for the leadership of Institute of Internal Communications (IoIC), the only independent professional body solely dedicated to internal communication. IoIC is the voice of internal communication, setting standards for more than 70 years through qualifications, career development, thought leadership, and best practice.
Prior to joining IoIC, Jennifer has worked for over 20 years in professional associations, most recently as Strategic Marketing and Sales Director at the Market Research Society, developing and leading on activities across marketing communications (both internal and external), careers, membership, professional development, and publishing.
Chris Lee - VP Employee Communications at Gallagher
Chris is the Vice President of Employee Communication and Experience at Gallagher, a global internal communication agency. An expert in building market-leading brands, he advises organizations of all sizes and across all industries on the best ways to create memorable experiences for their employees — increasing appreciation for the ways that they are being supported and connecting them to their employer's purpose and values.
Within Gallagher, Chris’s mission is to build a national employee experience and communications practice in Canada. He is a regular speaker on all things internal communication at industry events, including the Strategic Internal Communication Conference and global IABC webinars.
